Unexplained Infertility
The biggest group (around 15-20%) out of all "infertile couples" is due to "unexplained infertility". This is when a couple fails to conceive even after about 18 months of regular intercourse & no cause is found for their being unable to give birth to a child.
Amongst couples who seek medical help, infertility is exclusively a problem in the Female in about 40% of cases & exclusively in the male in about 30% of the cases.
